Toxoplasmosis
SYMPTOMS for the Mild form may include mild anemia, mild irregular fever,
swelling of the neck and underarm lymph nodes, muscle pain and malaise. Sign
of the Acute form may include a rash, chills, high fever and prostration.
The Chronic form may have symptoms of headache, loss of weight, diarrhea and
inflammation of the eye. The Congenital form that may be caused from an
infection of the mother during pregnancy may have signs of eye disturbances,
convulsions, mental retardation, or central nervous system disturbances.
CAUSES may be from eating undercooked or raw contaminated meat but it is
usually from exposure to the organism in cat feces.
TREATMENT. Consult your doctor immediately. Early treatment. Medication.
